Delete Your Account
This page explains how to request deletion of your Telegraf account and the data associated with it. Telegraf is developed by Degteari Alexandr.
Option 1 — Delete in the app (fastest)
- Open the Telegraf app and sign in.
- Go to the Settings tab (bottom right).
- Scroll down and tap Delete Account.
- Confirm. Your account and personal data are permanently removed, and your messages appear as “Deleted Account” to others.
Option 2 — Request by email
If you no longer have the app installed, email us from the address (or with the phone number) linked to your account:

Subject: Telegraf Account Deletion Request. Include the email or phone number registered to your account so we can verify and process the request. We respond within 30 days.
What data is deleted
When your account is deleted, the following are permanently removed from our systems:
- Your profile: name, username, email address, phone number, and avatar.
- Your messages, voice messages, video notes, and shared media.
- Your contacts synced for finding friends.
- Your push notification tokens and active sessions.
What may be retained
- Content you sent to other users may remain in their chats, shown as coming from a “Deleted Account”.
- Minimal records required to comply with legal obligations, prevent abuse, or resolve disputes may be retained for up to 90 days, after which they are erased.
- Anonymized, non-identifying logs may be kept for security and reliability.
